Lovell London is a leading and innovative regeneration business that changes the lives of people we build homes for and those who work with us. We change lives by creating great opportunities and developing sustainable communities that stand out from the crowd; leaving a lasting legacy through the people we’ve had a positive impact on. This makes us the trusted partner of choice for Local Authorities, Housing Associations and Homeowners. We believe in responsible and sustainable construction and we look for partners who share our values. We work in long-term partnerships to transform communities creating places where people want to live.
We work closely with local people, our partners, GLA, Homes England and the Government Legal Department and through ongoing consultation, we develop bespoke solutions to local housing needs, creating attractive communities of energy-efficient, affordable homes where people choose to live. Our extensive experience in regeneration means we know how these schemes work best to enable sustainable urban development – including the mix of homes, how they are placed, the facilities and open spaces which help to bring residents together and the importance of providing training and employment opportunities for local people.
Our key projects include:
The One Woolwich development programme which will bring 1,563 high-quality, affordable new homes to the Royal Borough of Greenwich. Plans are in place to demolish all existing homes on the three estates, Connaught, Morris Walk and Maryon Grove, and completely redevelop the sites in a £398 million scheme, which is being delivered over seven phases across 13 years, set to
complete in 2028.
We were appointed by the Royal Borough of Greenwich as their development partner in July 2013. They chose us based on our flexible and collaborative approach, confident they could rely on us for this long-term partnership.
Together, working alongside PA Housing, our aim is to turn what was essentially a deprived mono-tenure area into a vibrant, welcoming and balanced community, with large family houses, mews houses and one, two and three-bedroom courtyard apartments up to 18 storeys high.
In July 2014 Lovell London was appointed to develop The Electric Quarter scheme in Ponders End, Enfield. The former Middlesex University site and High Street frontage in Ponders End scheme is being transformed with new homes alongside new commercial and retail space. The completed development will create 167 new homes, commercial and retail space and a replacement library split over two phases.
