Innovation Forum with bptw | Transforming West Greenwich

Innovation Forum with bptw | Transforming West Greenwich

The February Innovation Forum was held at bptw’s new offices at 40 Norman Road.

The presenters introduced five innovative housing schemes that played a huge part in transforming a former industrial area. These have been built out to high design standards despite environmental, complex land acquisition and planning challenges.

The Innovation Forum and site visit demonstrated that mixed tenure and mixed use development, with some high value properties has been achieved in partnership with Family Mosaic. The Forum also heard how Durkan used BIM to develop their scheme at Babbage Point.

The Forum concluded with a clear and persuasive case for BIM – saving 40-50% on asset management over the life time of a project.
