Programme of Member Events 201902 January 2019
The Housing Forum is delighted to announce its programme of membership events and activites in 2019.
Looking forward to the year ahead, Shelagh Grant, Chief Executive of The Housing Forum, outlines what's in store over the next 12 months:
'The Housing Forum's unique position is our cross-sector status and our essential offer in in partnership working. We plan to nurture this with a full programme of event in 2019.
'Our National Conference in May will be based in Wembley and will showcase housing schemes and urban regeneration. Development Partnership Forums which covver practical insights into delivering challenging housing projects and provide insights for local authorities and new entrants into the market will continue. We will feature Eastern England and West Yorkshire markets as well as National Forums held in London.
'Innovation Forums are planned throughout the year to focus on product innovation for existing and new housing. In addition, new initiatives including Breakfast Briefings and RMI Forums have been added to the programme over the next 12 months.
'Our research and best practice work will continue with a Working Group on the challenge of meeting the requirements for oler peoples housing - and member briefings will be held later in 2019. Best practice reviews are planned into modern methods of construction and partnership working to continue to support our industry deliver the best outcomes.
