Programme Announced for RMI Forum: Strategic Asset Management

04 January 2019

RMI-Forum-Strategic-Asset-Management-Feb-2019

One of the key drivers of resident satisfaction is the quality of the repairs and maintenance service.

This also represents significant cost and investment in the stock, with a total spend of £3.2bn from housing associations in 2016/17. Furthermore, an increasing number of housing providers are switching to direct delivery of services.

This RMI Forum will consider the benefits and risks of managing an in-house service as opposed to employing contractors. It will also assess how lessons learned from strategic asset management can inform new build developments through effective procurement and early cross-sector engagement with key stakeholders
