Senior Sector Leader Appointed as Chair of The Housing Forum

09 April 2019

Stephen Teagle has been appointed as the new Chair of The Housing Forum.

Chief Executive of Galliford Try Partnerships, and member of the Executive Board, Stephen brings over 25 years’ experience in the affordable housing sector.

In his role as Chair, Stephen will lead the cross-sector membership network for the housing supply chain during a time where the sector is increasingly viewed as fundamental for the country’s future.

He takes over from Andy von Bradsky who was appointed as MHCLG’s Head of Architecture in February.

Chief Executive of The Housing Forum, Shelagh Grant, said:

‘We are looking forward to working with Stephen to lead The Housing Forum in its aims to deliver collaborative solutions that increase housing supply, and improve the quality of homes delivered.

‘Stephen has been a long-term advocate of partnership working, which is central to The Housing Forum’s purpose and role.’

Commenting on his appointment, Stephen said:

‘It is a privilege to be able to represent the membership and to build on the great work of the Forum. Improving the quality and number of homes delivered is our shared ambition and we will continue to argue strongly for policies which future-proof the supply of new homes’
