WHAT DOES THE GENERAL ELECTION 2015 MEAN FOR THE HOUSING INDUSTRY?

Breakfast Briefing, 19th March 2015

We'd like to share details of a morning briefing that our member PRP and Lexington Communications are holding on the General Election and its impact on the housing industry.

With fewer than 100 days left, newspapers and airwaves are playing host to the nation's pundits and a confusing plethora of polls. This briefing event will provide expert insight into the issues which will determine what kind of government will emerge. This, one of the most unpredictable elections in memory, will be won through hundreds of local campaigns – of great importance to the development industry. At the briefing we will be discussing critical questions, such as:

▪ What are the chances of any party winning a majority?
▪ What are the implications of another hung parliament?
▪ What are the differences between the parties’ policies on housing and planning?
▪ How will another coalition impact on planning policy and decisions?

Please join PRP to discuss the implications for the industry, how you can prepare, and the emerging party policies to look out for.
